Over the next six weeks Father Bill’s homilies will be a “message series” entitled “The Next S.T.E.P.S." In today’s gospel, Jesus invites us to follow Him. To follow Jesus is to be a disciple. In the church today to be a disciple is to do it Intentionally. In order to follow Him we must take it one step at a time. We will explore the acronym S.T.E.P.S and see that what Christ invites us to is:

S –Serve in Ministry
T - Tithing or Giving
E – Engage with others in small groups
P – Practice of Prayer and Sacraments
S – Sharing our Faith

Like a child taking one step at a time until he is fully grown so we are asked to take one step at a time. During the next few weeks open your heart, open your life and see what the next step is that will make you a more intentional disciple.
