The Family Catechesis Seder for grades 4, 5, and 6 was a great success! So many people to thank: Father Bill, Father Michael, Deacon Sam, Joe Crothers, Christine Prendergast, DeCicco's and especially all the families that shared our Catholic Seder together.
For the past two summers, we instituted a changed summer weekday schedule as well as a changed Sunday Mass schedule. These changes have worked very well. This year we will extend the time for these changes. The summer Mass schedule both for weekdays and Sunday will begin on Sunday, June 30 and will continue to the end of the year. Starting June 30th the new Mass schedule will be as follows: Monday thru Saturday mornings at 9 AM Saturday evening at 5 pm Sunday at 9 AM, 10:30 AM, and 12 Noon.
The July 1st through December 31st Mass Book will open on April 12th at the Parish Office 9 AM to 3 PM. No intentions will be taken over the phone. Limit 3 Masses per family. Mass forms are available at the parish office. Wednesday 9 AM Mass and Saturday 5 PM Mass will remain a double intention Mass.
It was a beautiful First Reconciliation this past Saturday. It was heartwarming to see families participating in this important sacrament together. Many thanks to the priests and volunteers that gave of their time to make this such a lovely celebration. 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade families: please send in your Sedar invitation this week. Confirmation candidates: Please make sure your paperwork is up to date. We are continuing to collect supplies for the Friday soup before Stations being hosted by the Youth Ministry. Please come on Friday for soup, salad, and bread and walk with Christ in the Stations.

Friday's first Soup to Stations lead by the Youth Ministry was a huge success! 2 different types of soup, salad, bread, soda, and coffee were served to parishioners before praying the Stations of the Cross upstairs in the Church. We look forward to seeing even more parishioners next week!
Would you like to make a difference to your fellow parishioners and visitors who enter St. Augustine’s? With a welcoming smile, Greeters open the door for all who come to church and assist people in need. Greeters serve a few times a month at the Mass of their choice. All volunteers will be asked to attend a training On Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 at 7 pm. A blessing of all new Greeters will be on Sunday, March 31st, during the 12 Noon Mass. We are looking for a volunteer to work in our Baptism program. The responsibilities would include taking pictures of the family and child on the first and third Sundays of the month after the 12:00 PM Mass, printing the pictures, changing the photos/frames monthly or bi-monthly and printing a list of the names on the display table in the Gathering Space. Couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary anytime during 2019 are invited to attend the Annual Golden Wedding Jubilee Mass with His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan at St. Patrick's Cathedral on Sunday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM. Pre-registration is required. Please contact the Parish Office for registration. If you are celebrating your 25th Anniversary, our parish celebration is Sunday, June 9th at the 12 PM Mass. 50th-anniversary couples will also be honored at this Mass.
